The best tool we have to spread the gospel Our Personal Testimony

Our testimony is all ours and no one can dispute it. The following is my testimony.

When my husband and I were dating we both felt this empty place inside us. We tried to fill it on our own but couldn't. After we were married we bought a house in West Tremont. We found we had a very friendly neighbor who would come to our house unannounced, sit down and talk to us about what the Lord had done for him that day. Soon he began to asks us if we would like to have a bible study at our house. We said we would and he got Pastor Norman Moyer of Cornerstone Baptist Church to lead it. He took us thru a Navigators study and then asked us if we would like to receive Christ into our life. He explained that we had to admit we were sinners in God's eye. That we were not perfect like God and need to allow God to take first place in our lives. We needed to believe that Jesus took our place, took on all our sins onto himself, and died for us. That He rose from the dead and went to heaven to be an intercessor between us and God. We prayed to God asking for forgiveness and became Christians at the same time on October 1980. Since then we have grown in the faith and used our gifts. We have both been Sunday School teachers, treasurers, and various other things.

Now we are ministering to the folks at Tremont Baptist Church.

Engaging with online sermons and community resources can also help you grow in your faith. As you listen to different messages, you may find new ways to apply biblical teachings to your life. This growth can lead to a deeper understanding of your beliefs and a stronger connection to your faith.

In conclusion, the internet has opened up a world of opportunities for spiritual growth and community engagement. By accessing online sermons and resources, you can deepen your faith and connect with others, regardless of physical distance.

While this is true, there is nothing like having the connections that actually going to your community church can give you. Direct human contact, where you can have friends who know you and can have compassion for you (when you are going through hard times) and have similar experiences as you cannot be the same online! So if you can make the commitment to go to a physical church there is nothing like it for growing your faith and sharing your enthusiasm for what you are learning about Christ.
